Our Services
Opened in 1978, Make A Frame is an independent custom framing shop located on this busy commercial stretch in Cobble Hill with a second location in Bedford-Stuyvesant. We work directly with our clients to design each unique project with preservation in mind. Only archival methods and materials are implemented in our work. Once the order is placed we build each closed corner hardwood frame by hand. Finally we fit each piece on site with archival materials and processes. We provide a variety of services at both locations:
Archival Framing
We specialize in conservation framing using museum quality techniques and material to keep your artwork safe and secure. The longevity of your art comes first.
Poster Shop
We stock a wide selection of vintage and hand-printed posters. We work directly with the likes of infamous screen-printer Mike King and others, we want to showcase a variety of prints and posters, new and old.
Gallery Space
We’re proud to offer a rotating gallery displaying works by local legends and up and coming makers. Send us an email if you’re interest in working together!
